Xian Ren Xi Tui : Rising And Falling Qi

Physical: Initially start in the Wuji stance and then open the stance out so the feet are about a shoulders width and a half apart. Place the hands over the Dan Tian and then turn the waist to the right, allow the hands to follow so they are close to the hip. Now as the weight drops in to the left leg allow the hands drop down the outside of the right leg. When they reach a comfortable position move the hands to the inside of the right leg and move the hands up the inside of the leg using the straightening of the left leg to guide them. Now assume the original position by turning the waist straight on. Repeat the move on the opposite leg by turning the waist to the left and dropping the weight into the right leg as the hands move down the outside of the left leg. Again at a comfortable position move the hands to the inside of the leg and use the straightening of the right leg to raise the hands up the inside of the left leg.

Energetic: In this move we are guiding the Qi in the lower Dan Tian to circulate around the legs. We guide it down the outside of the legs and up the inside, following the natural flow of Acupuncture meridians. At first the hands guide the Qi but overtime see if you can feel the Qi guide the hands.

Breathing: As the hands move down the outside of the legs breath out and as they move up the inside of the leg breath in.
